How To Crochet A Circle

After learning the basic stitches to crochet, it's time to actually make something. A circle may not sound fun, but you will be surprised how many things you will be able to make! If you need a refresher before you get started, go back and watch the single, half double, or double crochet videos. Otherwise, it's time to go round and round right round...

  1. Your favorite color yarn.

  2. G-hook (recommended)

  3. Stitch marker

RND 1: In first CH, 6 SC =6 SC
RND 2: 2 SC in each around =12 SC
RND 3: [2 SC in first ST, 1 SC in next] REPEAT =18 SC
RND 4: [ 2 SC in first ST, 1 SC in next 2 STS] REPEAT =24 SC
RND 5: [2 SC in first ST, 1 SC in the next 3 STS] REPEAT =30 SC
RND 6: [2 SC in first ST, 1 SC in next 4 STS] REPEAT =36 SC
RND 7: [2 SC in first ST, 1 SC in next 5 STS] REPEAT =42 SC
RND 8: [2 SC in first ST, 1 SC in next 6 STS] REPEAT =48 SC
RND 9: SC evenly around = 48 SC
